Attorney Profile

Work
I began practicing law in the State of Oregon in 2007.  Prior to opening my own law office, I was employed at two small firms in Oregon.  The focus of my practice at both firms was general legal matters and civil litigation, criminal defense, and business litigation law.  I worked in just about every area of legal practice and enjoy having that variety.

Focus
My practice currently focuses on all aspects of litigation including midemeanor criminal defense, civil law disputes, contracts litigation and formation and insurance law.  I spend a significant amount of time on probate law matters including guardianships and conservatorships.

Life
I am a semi-native Oregonian having been born in San Diego, CA.  I don’t remember San Diego, but love the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Portland attending the Catlin Gabel School in SW Portland. From there, I moved across the country and attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. In 1996-1997, I began a five year stint at University of Florida in Gainesville obtaining a PH. D. in analytical chemistry. Science has always been a part of my life and education. After graduate school, I took a year off and committed myself to law school.  I graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2005.

Fun
I love skiing, whitewater rafting, and hiking and think the Pacific Northwest is the perfect place to do all three.
